Practice Nurse urgently required for an MOD base in North Yorkshire, Excellent rates of pay!!!
Dream Medical are working with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) to recruit an experienced Locum Practice Nurse (Band 5) in North Yorkshire, starting ASAP for an ongoing period.
The Nurse will work as part of a multi disciplinary primary healthcare team delivering general medical services and elements of occupational health to military personnel. Under the guidance of the Medical Officer, the Practice Nurse will be responsible for the provision of clinical treatment, screening and advice to patients in accordance with NMC and MOD guidelines and protocols.
Suitable candidates must be registered with the NMC and hold a valid Personal Identification Number (PIN), and previous experience at Band 5.
Minimum of one year's post registration experience in Primary Health Care practice.
Competent in history taking, clinical examination, MOD clinical system DMICP.
Experience in relevant areas, e.g. Childhood Immunisations, Well Women clinics, clinical supervision, Supporting Learning and Assessment in Practice (or equivalent), Travel Medicine, Cervical Cytology.
Previous experience of working with MOD is essential for this role.
